at World University Games (2017) — Went 1-0 with a 8.10 ERA in two starts… earned the victory over Russia (8/22), allowing three runs on three hits over 5 1/3 innings… had seven strikeouts to one walk… started the gold medal game against Japan (8/29).

2017 — Went 0-0 with a 4.74 ERA in 11 appearances… had 16 strikeouts in 19 innings… logged a career-best four innings in the Big Ten Tournament against Minnesota (5/27)… scattered five hits, fanned four, and didn’t allow a run… scattered three hits in three shutout innings against Rutgers (4/23)… tossed three innings, allowing two runs on five hits against Lehigh (3/12)… had a career-high five strikeouts without issuing a walk.

2016 — Missed the final month of the season because of injury… went 1-0 with a 0.79 ERA in eight appearances… had 12 strikeouts to three walks in 11 1/3 innings… tossed two shutout innings, fanning two, in his first career Big Ten appearance against Illinois (4/9)… earned his first career victory, throwing two shutouts innings and fanning one against Milwaukee (4/6)… threw 2 1/3 innings against Northwestern College (3/8), allowing three hits and striking out three… made his collegiate debut against Indiana State (2/26), striking out the only batter he faced.
