IOWA CITY – University of Iowa president Dr. David Skorton will play the national anthem on saxophone and throw out the first pitch at Pearl Field when the Iowa softball team entertains Minnesota Sunday.
Iowa will host Wisconsin on Friday and Saturday before the doubleheader against Minnesota. The Hawkeyes, who currently are on an 11-game winning streak, are 41-9 overall and in third place in the Big Ten.
