Hawkeyes In 11th

COLUMBUS, OH – The University of Iowa men’s golf team played the third round of the 2007 Big Ten Championships Saturday at the Ohio State University Scarlet Golf Course. The Hawkeyes posted a score of 312 to finish the day in 11th place. Michigan State leads the event with a total score of 889.

Sophomore Cole Peevler continues to lead the Hawkeyes. He is currently tied for 25th place with a total score of 229. Junior Dan Holterhaus shot a 79 in the third round to finish the day tied for 37th. Junior Adam Miller moved up four places in the standings to 45th after shooting a 76 in round three. Sophomore Zack Anderson ended the day tied for 53rd and junior Scot Glasford finished in 55th.

The Hawkeyes will play the final round of the 2007 Big Ten Championships Sunday. Competition is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. (CDT).
