IOWA CITY – Iowa’s softball game Sunday against Illinois has been cancelled due to heavy rain and lightning in the Iowa City area. The game will not be rescheduled.
Iowa will be the No. 4 seed in next week’s Big Ten Tournament and will face Purdue, who earned the No. 5 seed with an 11-0 win over Indiana Sunday. The Big Ten Tournament will be held at Ohio State, who claimed the Big Ten regular season title with a 4-0 win over Penn State.
