IOWA CITY, Iowa — Registration is now open for University of Iowa softball program’s September clinics. Participants must be in grades eight through 12 to participate in the four-day sessions.
The pitcher/catcher and hitting clinic, which will be held on Sept. 1, Sept. 8, Sept. 15 and Sept. 22 at Pearl Field from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (CT), is limited to eight pitchers and eight catchers.
The second clinic session focuses on infield/outfield and hitting. It is limited to 20 infielders and 20 outfielders and will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (CT) at Pearl Field on Sept. 2, Sept. 9, Sept. 16 and Sept. 23.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from the UI softball staff of head coach Marla Looper, assistant coaches Adrianna Baggetta and Adam Arbour and volunteer assistant coach Chelsey Carmody. The cost for both clinics is $80.
The registration deadline is on Aug. 28 at 11:59 p.m. (CT) and campers must complete and submit a liability waiver. Registration and the liability waiver are available online only at iowasoftballcamps.com. No late or walk-up registration will be accepted.
