IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa softball program announced eight contests for the 2018 fall season, head coach Renee Gillispie announced Tuesday.
The Hawkeyes open their fall slate hosting home games versus Kirkwood Community College on Sept. 14 and Des Moines Area Community College on Sept. 21 before heading to Ames, Iowa, for the annual Big 4 Classic.
Iowa opens the Big 4 Classic with a doubleheader on Sept. 29 against UNI and Drake, and concludes the tournament against Iowa State on Sept. 30.
The Hawkeyes wrap up fall competition at Pearl Field on Oct. 5 against Indian Hills Community College and a doubleheader against Illinois State on Oct. 7. Admission to all games is free.
