IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa softball team added an exhibition game against the Czech National Team on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. (CT).
Both teams will square off at the ESPN Wide World of Sports following the conclusion of the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic in Kissimmee, Florida.
The Hawkeyes wrapped up the Diamond 9 Citrus Blossom last weekend, posting a 2-3 record with victories over Kansas and Massachusetts. Junior pitcher Allison Doocy tallied 19 strikeouts during the tournament, picking up two wins, and ranks third in the Big Ten with 40 strikeouts on the season.
Iowa begins the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic on Friday against UAB at 11 a.m. (CT).
