IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa softball program released its spring schedule on Monday. The schedule includes 14 home games at Bob Pearl Field, starting with the Big Ten opener March 25 against Wisconsin.
The Hawkeyes open the season with six nonconference tournaments on the road. The regular season includes 13 road games and a 23-game Big Ten Conference schedule.

- The Hawkeyes travel to The Spring Games in Leesburg, Florida, on two occasions and attend tournaments hosted by San Diego, Memphis, Kansas, and 2021 National Champion Oklahoma.
- Iowa’s home schedule includes dates with Wisconsin, Western Illinois, Drake, Minnesota, Ohio State, and Purdue.
Renee Gillispie is entering her fourth season as the head coach with Iowa. Iowa adds 11 freshman and two transfer students to their 12 returners. The Hawkeyes are coming off a program record 26 conference wins.
The Hawkeyes open the fall season in Iowa City against Illinois State and Indian Hills on Sept. 26 at noon and 5 p.m. (CT) respectively.
