2005 as a Junior… Named to NCAA Region V all-tournament team… all-Big Ten Tournament team selection… ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America District 7 selection… started all 64 games at shortstop… lead team in batting average (.367), runs scored (48), hits (73), doubles (15), at bats (199) and total bases (120)… batted .352 during the regular season and .351 during Big Ten play… recorded at least three hits in seven games… went 3-4 with two home runs and three RBI against Auburn (Mar. 6)…. scored two runs, including the game-winning run against Northwestern in the Big Ten Tournament… went combined 7-12 (.583) in NCAA Tournament… collected four hits and scored both runs, including game-winning solo home run against Nebraska in elimination game of NCAA Tournament… scored game-winning run against Creighton in NCAA Tournament.
