PARKING
|
Parking – Teams will be provided with two parking passes for the lot directly east of the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. Metered parking (35 cents per hour) is available in front of the tennis facility. See map in appendix A. Additional spectator parking is available free of charge directly next to the Hall of Fame Building and the University of Iowa Recreation Fields. Both parking lots are within a 5 minute walking distance of the championship site.
CHAMPIONSHIP SITE

The Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex is the new home of Hawkeye Tennis. Opened in the fall of 2006, the new on-campus facility provides the University of Iowa with one of the premier collegiate tennis venues in the nation. It includes 12 outdoor tennis courts along with 8 indoor tennis courts, a 2700 square foot fitness area. The indoor courts are equipped with state of the art scoreboard system that highlights all individual game, set, match and team scores.
The Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex houses both men’s and women’s tennis. In the complex there is a spacious lounge and raised spectator bleacher area.

From Eastern Iowa Airport
- Exit Airport Road.
- Turn right at stop sign and enter I-380 South.
- Follow I-380. I-380 turns into HWY 218 South.
- Take Melrose exit and turn left onto Melrose Avenue.
- Turn left onto Mormen Trek.
- Turn left onto Prairie Meadow Drive. The Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex is on your right.
- From I-80
- Take exit 242 (1st Avenue exit).
- 1st Avenue turns into Mormon Trek Blvd. Follow Mormon Trek Blvd.
- Turn right onto Prairie Meadow Drive. The Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex is on your right.
