Jacoby, Larsen Shine at Iowa City ITA Summer Circuit

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa men’s tennis players Jake Jacoby and Jonas Larsen shined at the ITA Summer Circuit this past weekend at the University of Iowa.
 
Jacoby, a senior-to-be, was crowned singles champion after notching wins over Nikita Snezhko (6-3, 5-7, 10-3), and Hawkeye teammates Jason Kerst (6-4, 6-0) and Larsen (7-5, 7-6).
 
Jacoby and Larsen won four doubles matches to earn the event’s doubles title. The top-seeded duo recorded three of four wins over seeded teams. Jacoby/Larsen bounced second-seeded Draheim/Dean, 8-5, in the championship match.
