ORLANDO — The University of Iowa dance team placed fourth at the UDA National Championship in Orlando this past Sunday.
The Hawkeye dance team placed fourth in the pom, while fellow Big Ten teams Ohio State, Minnesota, and Rutgers finished in the top three, respectively. The Hawkeyes went on to place 14th in the jazz category.
The Iowa cheerleading team finished fourth in the inaugural 1A gameday competition, while Herky the Hawk finished ninth overall in the mascot division.
The Hawkeyes will host their kids clinic on Feb. 3-4 at the UI Field House and Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
