IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa women’s tennis players Anastasia Reimchen and Elise van Heuvelen are ranked No. 49 in the ITA Division I Doubles Rankings released Tuesday by the International Tennis Association.
The pair entered the rankings for the first time after posting a 2-0 record this weekend, including a 6-3 win over 13th-ranked Alex Chatt and Lee Or of Northwestern. Their 6-3 win over Northwestern and 6-2 win over Notre Dame marked the first time this season the duo paired together in doubles.
Iowa returns to the court Wednesday, playing Iowa State at 4 p.m. (CT) at LifeTime Fitness in Des Moines. The match marks the 10th event of the 2017-18 Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series.
