ROCHESTER, Minn. — University of Iowa freshman Jacob Warner earned a spot on the United States Junior World Team after sweeping the best-of-three finals Saturday at the 2018 UWW Junior Freestyle World Team Trials.

Warner defeated John Borst by consecutive 10-0, 11-0 technical falls and will compete for a 92 kg. Junior World Championship in Trvava, Slovakia on Sept. 17-23.

He needed just five minutes and 11 seconds to dispose of Borst and return to the UWW World Championships for the first time since winning a bronze medal at the 2016 Cadet World Championships in Tbilsi, Georgia.
