Schedule Announced For 2K Classic Benefiting Wounded Warrior Project

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The schedule has been finalized for the 2018 2K Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project, which highlights Iowa, Oregon, Syracuse, and Connecticut.
 
The Hawkeyes will challenge Oregon in the semifinals of the championship rounds on Nov. 15, before taking on either Connecticut or Syracuse on Nov. 16, at Madison Square Garden in New York.
 
Each team will also host a pair of regional round games on campus before traveling to New York City. Iowa will host UMKC and Green Bay to tipoff its 2018-19 season. The Hawkeyes will host the Kangaroos on Nov. 8, followed by the Phoenix on Nov. 11, on Mediacom Court at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
 
Tickets for the Championship Rounds can be purchased at ticketmaster.com or by calling 866-448-7849. All four games of the Championship Rounds will air on ESPN networks. The four regional round hosts combine for 111 NCAA appearances, 16 Final Fours, and eight National Championships. 

Iowa previously played in the 1999 and 2014 2K Classics, advancing to the championship game in 1999, and sports a 3-3 record in the 2K Classic.
 
The remainder of Iowa’s nonconference schedule will be announced later this summer.
