Single Game Tickets On Sale, Pre-Sale Football Parking Passes Available

IOWA CITY, Iowa – – Individual game tickets for six University of Iowa 2019 home football games go on sale to the public Thursday, July 18. UI athletics also announced updated plans for game day parking.

Single game tickets for the public, except for Penn State, are available online at hawkeyesports.com. Fans can purchase the Penn State game online with the football mini-pack, or in the Hawkeye Village. Single game tickets and mini-packs can also be purchased by calling the UI Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-IA-HAWKS between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Fans cannot submit multiple orders.

Members of the National I-Club and 2019 Iowa football season ticket holders have had an opportunity to make single game purchases since July 5. For more information about the National I-Club or to join the National I-Club, visit jointheiclub.com or call (319) 467-3410.

As a part of enhancing the fan experience, parking at Kinnick Stadium is now digital and can now be purchased in advance. Iowa is implementing a new parking management system designed to improve operational efficiency. Parking scanners will be used for all private and public lots. Parking passes for designated public lots will now be available for pre-purchase via credit card on hawkeyesports.com. Season parking passes are available for $100, while single game parking is $20 in advance and $25 on game day. The pregame price includes a deadline of noon on Thursday prior to game day.

Day of game parking in public lots may be available, depending on pre-sales. This information will be available via hawkeyesports.com/footballgameday and Twitter (@TheIowaHawkeyes) following the Friday deadline.  Grass parking at Finkbine Golf Course and the soccer fields will be available only on day-of-game, if conditions warrant.

With the purchase of a single game ticket, fans will be able to pre-purchase parking for any one of four lots, including Lots 3, 65, Myrtle, and Ramp 4. There is a limit of one parking pass per account. The passes will be available on mobile devices, but not available to print at home.

The general parking pass will no longer exist, as fans can select one of four lots when purchasing parking passes for either the entire season or single games. The changes do not involve contributor parking. RV parking will continue to be Lot 43N, in one of three zones: North, East, and West Campus Transportation Center (WCTC). General parking passes for RV’s are available for $500 for the season and are available for all three RV lot locations.

Limited ADA parking will be available in Lot 43N on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $25 and is payable upon entry from Hawkins Drive only. Fans will not be able to enter from Melrose Avenue and no football parking pass is accepted.

There is no change in bus parking from 2018. Bus passes may be ordered by contacting Doak Walker (doak-walker@uiowa.edu) at the UI Athletics Ticket Office by noon on Wednesday of game week. The bus parking area is limited to 15 buses/limos and there is no gameday sales for this area.

Iowa football has posted back-to-back bowl wins, including a 27-22 Outback Bowl win over No. 18 Mississippi State on Jan. 1. The Hawkeyes have posted a 37-16 record over the past four seasons. Kirk Ferentz completed 20 seasons as Iowa’s head coach, and is now the winningest head coach in program history (152 wins) and ranks fifth all-time in the Big Ten Conference.
