Hawkeyes Wrap Fall Season at FIU

MIAMI, Florida – The University of Iowa women’s tennis team wrapped its fall season Sunday winning four of six singles matches against Missouri at the FIU invitational.
 
Facing off against Missouri at the No. 1 position, Elise van Heuvelen Treadwell finished the fall season with a record of 7-2 and a win over Ellie Wright, 6-1, 6-1. At the No. 2 position, Michelle Bacalla won against Serena Nash, 7-5, 6-4. At the No. 5 spot, Danielle Bauers earned her seventh win of the fall, defeating Gabrielle Goldin, 6-4, 6-0. Erika Dodridge also earned her seventh win of the fall winning 6-0, 6-1 against Janvhi Clark from USF.

Dodridge, van Heuvelen Treadwell, and Bauers all finished the fall season with a team-high seven wins.
 
Iowa finished the fall season with a 38-34 record in singles and a 17-16 record in doubles.

UP NEXT
The Hawkeyes return to Florida to kick off the spring season Jan. 18, facing South Alabama in Ft. Myers.
 
On Jan. 20, the Hawkeyes once again face off against Florida International in Miami.
