Mueller Talks B1G Mental Health Initiatives

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa junior Marissa Mueller and Big Ten Conference Commission Kevin Warren met remotely with reporters Monday to discuss the league’s recently announced mental health initiatives.
 
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and conference officials announced Monday the creation of a cabinet that will pursue a goal of creating the most comprehensive mental health and wellness platform in college athletics.
 
Mueller provided her personal insight as a Big Ten student-athlete, spoke about her experience at Iowa, and what the conference initiatives mean to student-athletes. Her story was shared by the national news publications below.
