Quoting Head Coach Sasha Schmid
“To be able to play such a good opponent as K-State and to be able to get over the hump means a lot. Just for where we were as a team, we were hungry for that, and really needed that at this time. I think there was fight on all the courts today. I was really happy with the complete team effort. I really felt like they were going to have to win that match, going to have to step up and win it. To do that you have to be really courageous and I thought they did that really well. I think the mindset is you have got to take it, you have to step up and take it and not wait for someone to give it to you. I thought that was really what we were able to do today, and that was the difference.”
