Iowa Completes Day 1 at Westbrook Spring Invite

PEORIA, Ariz. – The University of Iowa women’s golf team sits in 12th place through the first two rounds of the Westbrook Spring Invitational at the Westbrook Village Golf Club. The Hawkeyes shot a 293 and 298 on Sunday for a 591 total.

Three Iowa freshmen – Madison Dabagia, Riley Lewis and Shannyn Vogler – each fired one even par 72 during the day. Dabagia is tied for 22nd with a 145 (72-73) total after recording five birdies on the day.

Lewis is tied for 34th place with a 147 (75-72), firing eight birdies on Sunday. Vogler, meanwhile, is tied for 45th with a 149 after firing rounds of 72-77. She had seven birdies on the day.

Nebraska leads the tournament with a 10-under par 566. Five players are currently sharing the individual lead atop the leaderboard with a four-under par 140.

Iowa will close out the tournament on Monday with action beginning at 7:30 a.m. (CT) for the final round of the Westbrook Spring Invitational.
