MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – University of Iowa diving hit the well at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships inside the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on Tuesday.
Freshman Geneva Pauly qualified through to finals with a collegiate-best 301.35, and finished in 18th place with a final score of 588.45.
Freshman Lainey Woodward (272.75), sophomore Makayla Hughbanks (272.55) and junior Sarah Ballard (271.65) finished in 25th, 26th and 27th respectively.
The four Hawkeyes continue competition on Wednesday with the one-meter dive at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with prelims beginning at 11 a.m. CT. The meet will be live streamed on B1G+ (FREE).
