QUOTING HEAD COACH JEFF GARBUTT
“We are excited to get to race this weekend at the Lake Wheeler Invite. This will be another opportunity for us to test our speed against some of the best in the country. The race schedule this year as always gives us the chance to travel and see the best competition available. Our athletes work hard, and we try to reward them with as many racing opportunities as possible. This week is a really stacked field with three top-10 teams in Penn, Syracuse and Tennessee as well as our host, Duke. This level of competition will once again teach us how to race with our top end speed as we head into the conference championships. Go Hawks!”
