IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa baseball team welcomes Illinois State to Duane Banks Field on Tuesday for a midweek matchup. First pitch is set for 6:02 p.m. (CDT), and admission is $5.
The Hawkeyes enter the contest with a 31-12 record, while the Redbirds sit at 20-21 on the season. Illinois State defeated Iowa, 10-8, on March 25.
As a team, Illinois State is hitting .302, and its pitching staff has a 6.41 ERA. Daniel Pacella leads the offense, hitting .380 with a team-high 14 home runs and 48 RBIs.
