2016 — Competed in one race with the 3V4+ crew… helped the Hawks to a fourth place finish (7:36.754) at the Big Ten Championships… helped team to a fifth place finish at the Big Ten Championships (95 points).

2014-15… Competed with the 1N8+ crew at the Head of the Des Moines and against Kansas in the fall… competed with the 1N8+ crew at the Big Ten Double Dual, the B1G/Big 12 Challenge, and the Big Ten Championships… helped the 1N8+ crew collect a first place finish with a comfortable 16-second margin over the Jayhawks at the B1G/Big 12 Challenge… helped beat 1N8+ beat Michigan by 6.4 seconds at the Big Ten Double Dual… helped the team to a sixth place finish, the second highest scoring performance at the Big Ten Championships in program history, and the highest since 2003.

Before Iowa… Member of high school’s swim team all four years… member of high school’s track team… received the red honor cord for graduation.

Personal… Born June 12, 1996… daughter of Jeff and Candy Wagenknecht… human physiology major.

Why Iowa… I chose to come to Iowa because I loved the campus and how beautiful it is. I also liked how it is not too far away from home and that I can go home.

My favorite aspect of rowing is… My favorite part of rowing is being with the team and being out on the water racing.

What made you want to become a rower… I saw the rowing booth at On Iowa and thought it looked interesting. I am so gad that I decided to try it out.
