2016… Competed in six races with the 1N8+ crew… helped the 1N8+ crew to first places finishes at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual (7:17.1), the Big Ten Double Dual (7:00.50), the Big Ten/Big 12 Double Dual (7:20.370), and the Tennessee Invitational… placed fourth at the Big Ten Championships (6:48.556)… helped team to a fifth place finish at the Big Ten Championships (95 points)… letterwinner.

Before Iowa… State track and field 2012, Shot Put, 17th, 33-09.50… State track and field 2013, Discus, 7th, 111-06… State track and field 2014, Discus, FOUL…. State track and field 2015, Shot Put, 14th, 33-06.75; Discus, 4th, 121-11.

Personal… Born January 24, 1997 in Iowa City, Iowa… daughter of Patrick and Jennifer Krieger-Coen… Open major… Cousins currently playing football for the Iowa Hawkeyes: Henry Krieger-Coble and George Kittle. Cousin Emma Kittle played volleyball for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Cousin Brad Carlson played baseball for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Cousin Jess Settles played basketball for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Uncle Bruce Kittle played football for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Aunt Amy played softball for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Why Iowa… I chose to attend the University of Iowa because I have quite a few of family members who have attended/are attending college here. I think it’s cool to be a part of my family’s history as Hawkeyes.

My favorite aspect of rowing is… My favorite aspect of the sport rowing is the fact that it’s just as much an individual sport as it is a team sport. It’s exciting to see myself grow as a rower, but it’s just as much fun seeing our team grow.

What made you want to become a rower… I wanted to become a rower because I like to compete and work hard, but also because it gave me the chance to meet some really great people.
