TitleOffensive Graduate Student Coach

Quincy Griffith completed his second year as a graduate assistant coach with the University of Iowa football program in 2024. He assists with the Hawkeye offensive line.

The Hawkeyes won 18 games the last two seasons, including 10 and capturing the Big Ten West Division in 2023. Iowa earned berths to the Citrus and Music City bowls after the 2023 and 2024 seasons, respectively, and finished 2023 ranked No. 24 nationally.

Griffith joined the Iowa staff after serving as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Simpson College for the spring of 2023. From 2020-22, he was an assistant coach at Wayne State College (Neb.). He coached tight ends and worked with special teams in 2022. He coached the offensive line and coordinated the run game in 2020-21, while also working with special teams.

In 2019, Griffith coached tight ends and assisted with the offensive line at Central Missouri. From 2018-19, he coached outside linebackers at Illinois Wesleyan, while also assisting with the defensive line and special teams.

Griffith coached and taught at Carlisle, Iowa, High School in 2017-18, serving as the defensive line coach, while also teaching social studies. He also was an assistant coach for wrestling and baseball.

Griffith earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education and history from Wartburg College, where he played offensive line all four years of his career.

Griffith is a graduate of Ankeny High School in Ankeny, Iowa.
