LAST TOURNAMENT: The Hawkeyes competed at the ITA Midwest Regionals. Mintz and Racette advanced to the main singles draw. Mintz finished with a 3-1 record in the tournament while Racette went 4-1. Hodgman was the Iowa’s next best finisher with a 2-1 record.
QUOTING COACH WARDLAW: “The Wisconsin Invite serves as the perfect finish to our fall competition – just enough play, but in a team format. Playing a team format against two of the top teams in the Big Ten puts us in a team mode. We’ll have a clear picture of where we are as we head into the spring season.”
HEAD COACH WARDLAW: Paul Wardlaw is in his seventh season as head coach of the Iowa women’s tennis program. Wardlaw has compiled a record of 69-66 (.511) and a career record of 319-141 (.693). Under his direction, the Hawkeyes have made three NCAA tournament appearances.
