Iowa kickoff returner C.J. Jones (2003) set an Orange Bowl record when he returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown against Southern California.
Iowa punters Nick Gallery (1996) and Jason Baker (1997) have established bowl records for longest punt in two of Iowa’s recent bowl games. Gallery had a 59-yard punt in the 1996 Alamo Bowl and Baker had a 76-yard punt in the 1997 Sun Bowl.
