MILWAUKEE, WI –
The University of Iowa rowing team competed at the 2004 Milwaukee River Challenge Saturday, September 18. The Hawkeyes finished with three boats in the top five.
The Iowa (A) boat finished third with a total time of 23:29.21 in the 4+ event. Finishing fifth was Iowa’s (B) boat with a time of 24:07.30. The Hawkeyes’ (C) squad placed tenth with a total time of 54:54.61. Only Iowa’s first varsity squad finished in competition, the (A) boat placed third with a total time of 22:14.43.
Iowa will travel to compete in the Head of Des Moines on Saturday, September 25.
