Iowa Rowing Announces Clinic Dates

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa rowing head coach Andrew Carter and his staff have announced dates for its high school girls’ clinics. The clinics will take place at Sue Beckwith Boathouse on Sunday, Sept. 15 and Sunday, Sept. 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of rowing in the indoor rowing tanks and in boats on the Iowa river, meet with the Hawkeye rowing coaching staff, learn about the Division I walk-on program UI and the recruiting process, and tour the 7.2 million dollar facility. The cost is 35 dollars per person and rowing experience is not necessary. Payment can be made the day of the event with cash or check. Please make out checks to Iowa Rowing.
