24 Hawkeyes to Watch 2016-17 | Hawk Talk Monthly — September 2016
IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa women’s tennis players Zoe Douglas and Anastasia Reimchen check in at No. 45 in the International Tennis Association Division I preseason doubles rankings.
As sophomores in 2016, Douglas and Reimchen had a 7-5 record and were ranked as high as 49th nationally. Their biggest win of the season came against Ohio State, when the knocked off third-ranked Miho Kawase and Anna Sanford, 6-2.
They Hawkeye duo finished the season ranked No. 88.
The Hawkeyes open fall play Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Gopher Invite in Minneapolis.
