Stewart Named to Dutch U-23 National Team

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa junior rower Eve Stewart has been named to the U-23 Dutch National Team ahead of the 2018 World Rowing Championships.

Stewart, a native of Amsterdam, helped Iowa to its best season in program history, reaching as high as No. 7 in the national rankings and placing fourth in the Big Ten with a program-best 111 points. The team finished the season 11th in the country at the NCAA Championships.

Stewart, who is tentatively slotted in the fifth seat, will compete at the U-23 World Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland, from July 25-29.
