Iowa Set to Hit the Water in Columbus

THIS WEEK

The University of Iowa rowing team heads to Columbus, Ohio, to compete against Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, and Oregon State on Saturday, March 27 at 8 a.m. (CT) at the Griggs Reservoir in Columbus.

HOW TO WATCH

  • Fans will be able to watch the races on the Ohio State Rowing Instagram account’s live stream (@ohiostaterow)
  • There will be two live streams throughout the day. The first will be 8-10 a.m. and then again from 12-2 p.m. (CT).

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Hawkeyes competed in a pair of scrimmages against SMU in Marritt Island, Florida, on March 4 and 7.
  • Results:
  • I Varsity 8: Iowa 6:18.0 – SMU 6:14.0
  • II Varsity 8: Iowa 6:34.0 – SMU 6:26.0
  • I Varsity Four: Iowa 7:33.0 – SMU(A) 7:18.0 – SMU(B) 7:41.0

2020 ROSTER BREAKDOWN

  • The Hawkeyes roster this year features girls from four countries: USA (50), Canada (3), England (2), Italy (1).
  • 13 different states are represented on the Iowa roster.
