THIS WEEK
The 18th-ranked University of Iowa rowing team will race on home water this weekend in Solon, Iowa, against Drake, Kansas, No. 16 Minnesota, and No. 19 Wisconsin at Lake MacBride. The competition will take place Saturday, beginning at 8:30 a.m. (CT).
HOW TO WATCH
- The Rowing Regatta at Iowa will be streamed live on BTN+. The link can be found on the 2020-21 women’s rowing schedule page on hawkeyesports.com.
EVENT SCHEDULE
- There will be seven races from 8:30-10:30 a.m. (CT), with 20 minutes between the start of each race: 2 Novice 8, 1 Novice 8, 3 Varsity 4, 2 Varsity 4, 1 Varsity 4, 2 Varsity 8, and 1 Varsity 8
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawkeyes II Varsity 8+ won two races last weekend at the Big Ten Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Iowa’s I Varsity 8+ took second Saturday morning and the I Varsity 4+ boat took second both Saturday and Sunday morning.
