DEBRECEN, Hungary — University of Iowa women’s basketball sophomore Caitlin Clark led Team USA to a sweep in the group phase of the 2021 FIBA Women’s U19 World Cup, closing with a, 97-36, victory over Egypt.
Clark put up 13 points, pulled down eight rebounds, and dished out eight assists in USA’s final group phase game before heading into bracket play. The West Des Moines, Iowa, native tallied three offensive boards, a steal and a block to fill her stat line.
