DEBRECEN, Hungary — University of Iowa women’s basketball sophomore Caitlin Clark and Team USA defeated Spain, 98-64, on Friday to advance to the 2021 FIBA Women’s U19 World Cup semifinals on Saturday.
Clark led Team USA with 17 points, draining three 3-points and shooting 6-6 from the free-throw line. The West Des Moines, Iowa, native recorded two steals, two assists and a block.
