IOWA CITY, Iowa – Three University of Iowa women’s wrestlers will travel to Tirana, Albania to compete at the 2024 World Championships at the Tirana Olympic Park.
Competition begins with the U23 World Championships on Monday, October 21. Senior Macey Kilty (65 kg), junior Skye Realin (59 kg) and redshirt sophomore Kylie Welker (72 kg) will all represent team USA at the event.
Kilty and Welker will remain in Albania for the Senior World Championships – Non-Olympic Weight beginning on Monday, October 28. Kilty brought home the silver medal at the 2023 Senior World Championships in Serbia. Welker took 10th at the 2021 Senior World Championships in Norway.
