SAUCIER, Miss. – The University of Iowa men’s golf team completed the second round of play at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational on Sunday. The Hawkeyes dropped to 12th place after 36 holes, staying ahead of RV UNLV
Sophomore Noah Kent is currently tied for 10th place after two rounds, sitting at 1-under par 143. Kent followed his even-par 72 in the first round with a 1-under par 71 in the second round to continue leading the way for the Hawkeyes. Kent is currently tied for second shooting even on par fours through 36 holes against the field this weekend.
Junior Gage Messingham is tied for 41st place with a two round total of 5-over par. Messingham improved by a stroke between Saturday and Sunday’s round.
Freshman Ryan Shellberg is tied for 61st place with a total of 9-over par (153) shooting 6-over in today’s round.
Senior Josh Lundmark is tied for 71st at 12-over par (156) after shooting 8-over par in the second round. Senior Max Tjoa is tied for 73rd (+13) after carding 7-over par in his second round.
