QUOTING SUE P. BECKWITH, MD, HEAD COACH JAN JENSEN
"I told the girls I've been a part of a 24-point comeback before, but it's going to be really hard. I felt those eyes in the girls, and this place and these fans got really loud for us. I was really pleased with our girls tonight in their fight back. You can't really do what we did, even if Maryland was on their heels, if you don't really dig in and believe, and that is why they are so fun to coach. Wins are fun, but if you handle a loss right, it can really be helpful. We can learn so much from this."
