Hawkeyes Complete Day 2 in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Iowa women’s golf team fired a second round 312 on Monday to complete the second day of competition at the MountainView Collegiate at the Preserve Golf Club at Saddlebrooke.  

Senior Paula Miranda paced the team during round two, firing a three-over par 75.  She moved up 25 spots into a tie for 33rd place with a seven-over par 151 (76-75).  Miranda is tied with sophomore Ximena Benites. 

 

Sophomore Maura Peters is the top Hawkeye on the leaderboard through 36 holes, sitting in a tie for 8th place with a four-over par 148 (70-78).   

The Hawkeyes are tied for 6th place as a team with a 602 (290-312) total.  Arizona is leading the team standings with 584.  Individually, Kansas State’s Carla Bernat is leading the field with six-under par (138).
