Hawkeye Huddle Pep Rally Set For Thursday in Des Moines

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa football fans in central Iowa are encouraged to attend a Midweek Hawkeye Huddle Pep Rally on Thursday in Des Moines.  

The Pep Rally will take place at Big Grove Brewery & Taproom, located at 555 17th Street in Des Moines from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The event features cash refreshments and snacks, door prizes, a Hawkeye DJ, Herky the Hawk, and the Iowa Spirit Squads.

New this year -- registration is now required for all Hawkeye Huddles. Fans planning on joining the Hawkeyes on the road can register in advance. Unregistered fans will be put on a wait list.

The in-state football game between Iowa and Iowa State is scheduled for 11:10 a.m. (CT) on Saturday in Ames.
