Maney Named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

Field hockey sophomore Hannah Maney has been named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa field hockey sophomore Hannah Maney has been named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

It is the first career weekly honor for Maney and the fourth for the Hawkeyes this season.  

The Lewes, Delaware, native scored two goals and added an assist, totaling five points as No. 10 Iowa defeated Saint Louis, 7-0 on October 13.

Iowa travels to State College, Pennsylvania, for a Big Ten matchup against Penn State on Friday, Oct. 17, at 4 p.m. CT.
