IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Ethan Harris has signed a scholarship agreement with the University of Iowa men’s basketball program, it was announced Wednesday by head coach Ben McCollum.
The Camas, Washington, native is rated as a four-star recruit and as the No. 65 overall recruit in the Class of 2026. He is the top-ranked player in the state of Washington according to 247Sports Composite.
“I chose the University of Iowa for the coaches, culture and player development,” said Harris. “When I visited campus, talked with the coaching staff and met the players, I knew it was the perfect fit.”
Harris is the first member of Iowa’s 2026 recruiting class.
“Ethan is the definition of the type of player we are looking for to build the Hawkeye culture,” said McCollum. “He’s super competitive, has great versatility, can play a guard position and go inside if need be. We’re excited about the future with Ethan.”
