THE FIELD
Iowa will face off against six Big Ten opponents in a field of 15 that includes: Cincinnati, East Tennessee State, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Northwestern, Ohio State, Rutgers, UT-Chattanooga.

THE COURSE
The Colleton River Collegiate will be played at the Pete Dye Course at Colleton River (par-72, 7,180 yards). The links-type course has unobstructed views of Port Royal Sound and the Atlantic Ocean from 11 of its 18 holes.
- The only course of it's kind in the southeast, the Dye Course plays host to major tournaments like the South Carolina Amateur, US Amateur Qualifier, US Open Qualifier and the 2015 US Junior Amateur Tournament.
THE EVENT
Hosted by Michigan State University, the 14th annual CR Collegiate welcomes one of the most competitive fields in college golf. The CR Collegiate is one of the few Collegiate Charity Golf Tournaments in the country and relies on donations and support from donors and sponsors to help provide food, shelter, and medical care to those in need in the low country. Proceeds are distributed through the Colleton River Collegiate Fund at the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, a 501(c)(3) organization.
HAWKEYES AT THE COLLETON RIVER COLLEGIATE
This marks Iowa’s fifth appearance at the Colleton River Collegiate. The Hawkeyes competed in the tournament last season, finishing sixth overall, with Max Tjoa posting a top-20 individual finish.
- Iowa last won the event in 2021, claiming the team title. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the tournament was held at Sea Island, Georgia, that year. Iowa alum Mac McClear earned individual medalist honors at 10-under par (206), while fellow alum Alex Schaake finished runner-up at 7-under (209).
- In 2020, Iowa secured a sixth-place finish, led by Schaake’s tie for seventh at 3-under par (213). The year prior, in 2019, the Hawkeyes placed fourth overall, with Schaake again finishing runner-up at 7-under (209).
LAST TIME OUT
Iowa is coming off a strong showing at the Puerto Rico Classic, where the Hawkeyes finished ninth in 15-team field with a 24-under-par 840. This ties for the ninth-lowest 54-hole total in program history. Max Tjoa led the way with an 11-under-par 202, tying for the third-best 54-hole score in school history and finishing fifth individually. Grant Gudgel added a ninth-place finish at 10-under par (206), while Ryan Shellberg recorded a career-low seven-under tournament to secure a top-25 finish.
