2009 as a Senior… Started all 32 matches… appeared in 112 sets… finished season with a career-best 18 service aces and team leading and career-high 477 digs … had career-high 36 digs against Central Michigan (Sept. 5), tied for the third highest total in program history… named Big Ten Player of the Week Sept. 7, first Hawkeye to earn a Big Ten weekly volleyball honor since 2006 when her sister, Melanie Meister, took home the award on offense… served a career-high five aces against Binghamton (Sept. 18)… finished second in the Big Ten, averaging 4.26 digs per set… set the 25-point rally scoring single season record with 477 digs.

2008 as a Junior… Played in 28 matches with two starts… appeared in 83 sets… finished season with 87 digs and 11 service aces… had season-high 10 digs against Northwestern (Sept. 27)… had five or more digs in nine matches.

2007 as a Sophomore… Played in all 31 matches with five starts… appeared in 100 games… collected 187 digs and 25 assists… tallied a career-high 16 digs against Michigan State (Nov. 17)… recorded double digit digs four times.

2006 as a Freshman… Saw action in 14 matches and 34 games as a setter and defensive specialist… put up a season-high 15 assists October 21 against Wisconsin (Oct. 21)… recorded 13 assists against Minnesota (Oct. 20)… had a season-high 10 digs and five assists against Purdue (Oct. 7)… collected eight digs against Indiana (Oct. 6).

High School… Elite and first team all-state selection as a senior… first Valley volleyball player to be named Elite all-state… also named first team all-district as a senior… two-time first team all-conference… three-year team captain… three-time academic all-conference… also played basketball and softball… played for IPVA club team.

Personal… Born 10/2/87… parents are Ray and Mary Jo Meister… sister Melanie lettered in volleyball at Iowa from 2005-06… also has a younger brother Johnny… English and journalism and mass communications major.
