2005 — Indoor – provisionally qualified for NCAA Championships in weight throw, leading team in that event… threw season-best 66-4 1/4 in weight throw at Last Chance Meet … placed third in weight throw (64-11 1/4) at Big Ten Championships… won weight throw at Iowa Open (65-1 1/4), Gold Country Classic (63-4 1/4) and Hawkeye Open (64-6)… Outdoor – redshirted… won hammer throw at Simpson Twilight (217-11) and Messersmith Invite (210-11) while competing unattached… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner… placed 14th in hammer (210-1) at USATF Nationals.

2004 — Indoor – redshirted… Outdoor – all-American… placed 10th in hammer (206-9) at NCAA Championships after throwing a season-best 208-11 in prelims… won hammer at UNI Twilight (202-9), placed second at Drake Relays (206-7), Iowa Musco Twilight VI (200-5) and Missouri Relays (198-4), and fifth at Big Ten Championships (196-4)… placed 11th in hammer (192-0) at NCAA regional, qualifying for NCAA Championships… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2003 — Indoor – led team in weight throw (59-5 3/4)… placed 11th in weight throw (58-5 3/4) at Big Ten Championships… threw collegiate-best shot put (50-0 3/4) at Panther Classic… Outdoor – placed seventh in hammer with a season-best 196-0 at Big Ten Championships… placed 10th (190-5) in hammer at NCAA regional and 16th (177-6) at Drake Relays… led team in shot put and hammer… letterwinner… placed third in hammer throw (212-2) throwing a 6 kilo implement at USATF Junior Championships, earning Verizon Junior all-America honors.

High School — four-time high school all-American… won national hammer throw and state shot put (56-2 1/2)… set state record in shot put (60-1 1/2) and school records in discus (175-1) and shot put (60-1 1/2)… two-time team captain and MVP… named 2002 Verizon Junior all-American for placing third in hammer throw with six kilogram ball (205-10) at Junior National Championships… National Honor Society member… coach was Dee Blanchard.
