Four-time NCAA All-American - Indoor 4x800 meter relay (1987), Indoor mile (1988), Indoor 800 meters (1989) and cross country (1989); NCAA Indoor 800-meter silver medalist (1989);  Two-time Big Ten champion - Indoor 800 meters (1987) and 4x800 meter relay (1989); Outstanding Female Performer of the Drake Relays and Iowa Female Athlete of the Year (1989) and set six and currently holds three Iowa records.
