Cross Country/Track & Field Coach: 1976-96
Started the women's cross country program at Iowa in 1977; Big Ten cross country coach of the Year (1989); Big Ten cross country conference champions (1982); two top 10 finishes at NCAA Track & Field Championships (1980, 1982) and coached three NCAA individual champion, including Iowa's first female NCAA champion, 50 All-Americans, 44 Big Ten individual champions and 12 athletes that competed in Olympic Trials.
