Diane arrived at Iowa in 2006 to further advance the department’s fundraising efforts. In her current role, she runs capital campaigns, coordinates estate planning, and works on the HERkys committee. She acts as a sports liaison for Iowa women’s golf, swimming and diving and field hockey. Diane served as Iowa women’s golf coach from 1975 to 2002 and is an LPGA golf teaching professional. After coaching, Diane was the compliance coordinator for the university from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, she is a letterwinner in golf from Iowa State University (1969–71), where she also earned her bachelor’s degree prior to receiving her master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
