Katie (Brown) Wynn was hired in June 2017 as the Assistant Director of Development and was promoted to Director of Athletics Annual Giving in July of 2019. In her current role, she manages the operations of the Iowa Athletics Annual Fund and develops annual giving fundraising campaigns for the I-Club, Hawkeye Scholarship Fund, and 22 varsity programs. Additionally, Katie serves as the Executive Director of the Iowa Letterwinners Club and works on the HERkys committee. A three-time team captain on the Iowa Softball team (2007-10), Katie earned bachelor’s degrees in both elementary education and health and sports studies from Iowa before earning her master’s in higher education administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
